Kunle Ogunmefun – Executive Vice Chairman

Kunle is a graduate of Linguistics from University of Ibadan and an alumnus of both Lagos and London Business Schools. He also holds a post graduate diploma in advertising from the Nigerian Institute of Journalism.

He started off at NICON Insurance and in a span of 10 years rose to become the pioneer public relations and advertising manager, having set up the advertising department. He left NICON to set up Bluebird communications Limited in 1995.

Kunle is a member of the advertising practitioners council of Nigeria (APCON), Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Ikoyi Club and Godi Club

Kayode Ebatamehi – General Manager

Kayode graduated with a degree in History from the University of Lagos in 1990, and an MBA (Marketing) from Delta State University, Abraka.

He started his career in advertising at Promoserve Limited in 1993 and has worked in senior management positions with responsibilities spanning brand management, strategy and business development with other Agencies notable among which is Rosabel Leo Burnett .

He has managed brands in various sectors ranging from FMCG to financial services.

He is a member of the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON) and an award winning student in the professional examination of the Council.

He has passion for impacting knowledge and was for seven years a faculty member of APCON.
Kayode is a member of Lagos Country Club and enjoys playing Squash.

Olumide Idowu – Head, Account Management & Strategy

Olumide is a graduate of Mass Communications of the Ogun State Polytechnic, Abeokuta and holds an MBA from the Federal University of Technology , Akure (FUTA).

He started his career in 1991 as a trainee executive in the Media Department of Rosabel Advertising and joined Guardian Newspapers as a Supplements Executive in 1995 . He was a member of the pioneering Team of Vanguard Newspaper's Editorial Supplement Department that was set up early in 1997.

He returned to marketing communications industry as a Senior Media Relations Officer with Tanus Communications Limited in 1997. He joined Afribank Nigeria Plc in 1999 as Head of Media/Investors Relations in the Corporate Planning and Development Division and left the bank in February, 2007 as a Product Manager in the Consumer and Retail Banking RMG.

He is a member of notable professional associations in marketing communications and the financial services industry .

Debo Ogunbadejo – Head , Creative

An enemy of the ordinary who derives pleasure in creatively breaking the rules.

Debo holds a Diploma in Mass Communication, Bachelors Degree in Theatre Arts with Msc in Communication Studies in view.

He began his creative career 10 years ago and has worked with Magnum Gold Communications, Seal Concepts, Bluseal Advertising, DDB and CentrespreadFCB before joining Bluebird Communications.

Debo is an associate member of the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON).

He is a member of industry relevant associations such as NIPR, APCON and NIM

Saheed Lawal – Head, Media

Saheed studied Mass Communications and has an HND from the Ogun State Polytechnic, Abeokuta.

Prior to joining Bluebird Communications, he worked at Comex Advertising Limited as Executive (Media/Account Management), a position from where he rose to become Media Manager.

Saheed who believes strongly that the veritable media person must not only add value to but also advance the frontiers of advertising practice, is an associate registered practitioner in advertising (arpa)
